Essaouira Day Trip: Essaouira is a peaceful city that is refreshed by the sea wind. We stop along the road at an Argan oil cooperative. To discover how gold oil is made using traditional methods. Then stroll to Essaouira’s fishing harbor, where you may view the famed blue fishing boats. After that, visit some of the lovely Essaouira art galleries situated around Medina. As well as meandering around Essaouira’s Medina, which may be visited at leisure. Wander around the seashore ramparts with cannons. Lunch on seafood may be had at the harbor booths or a local restaurant. Finally, get back to Marrakech.

Essaouira The day tour begins at your hotel in Marrakech and continues to Essaouira at 08:30 a.m. First, we’ll travel across the Haouz plains to Chichaoud hamlet, where you may have a cup of coffee before continuing to Sidi Mokhtar. On our route, you will pass through an Argan tree forest, where you may see goats climbing the trees. We’ll snap some shots before continuing to Essaouira.
When we get to Essaouira, the first thing we do is go to the harbor, which has a fishing port and historic Portuguese walls. There are still medieval military cannons lined up facing the Atlantic Ocean. Then proceed to the Medina (old city), which has well-preserved fortifications from the 18th century. La Scala, the Medina’s main feature, was created to defend against foreign sea invasions. We next proceed to Bab Laalouj (one of Essaouira’s main gates) and the Mellah, the historic Jewish district.
Various art galleries, souvenir stores, and thuya wood craft businesses are lined up along the path. For a wonderful seafood meal, visit one of the neighborhood cafés. Following that, we travel to a Kasbah that was formerly a military fortress. If you like the beach, take a stroll along Mogador’s sandy beach. You may sunbathe while watching amateur kitesurfers or windsurfers. Finally, get reach Marrakech late in the afternoon.
